              As this part of our site is under construction we would like to say that our G3 Axles are the choice for those with expedition travel on the brain.  We know what it is like to be broken down, in the  middle of nowhere 400 miles away from the nearest autoparts store.   We have eliminated the need for "dealer only" service parts.  The past seven years behind the G3 portal axle will not disappoint the overland traveler.  All of the seals and bearing have been sourced for commonality and ease of availability.  Our portal boxes are built with investment cast 4140 chromoly steel. They are built for strength with the highest grade materials and processes.  This provides the comfort and reassurance that our axles will not fail you when you are a long way away from anything.  We have also taken notes from the expedition vehicles that we love and built our axles to be serviced easily and with a minimal number of tools.  If we could have we would have built our axles to be serviced with any old pocket knife.  We are still working to get there and one day we will.  We at Portal-Tek are confident that we build the best axles on the planet.  The innovation behind the G3 portal axle has led to the realization of an axle that truly brings clearance, strength, and durability to a new level. The G3 portal axle is simply the intelligent choice for the explorer who wants to travel far and get back again.  There is more to come so please check back soon.....
